- The purpose of this research is to know and to obtain the data about local wisdom of sasi lompa fish in natural resources management of coastal areas and small islands in Haruku Village, Central Maluku Regency. The method used in this research is normatif legal which focuses on the positive law. Local wisdom is local ideas that are wise, full of wisdom, deserve to be implanted and followed by the community. Judging from the concept of anthropology, local wisdom is also known as indigenous or local knowledge, local genius, and cultural identity There is existence in the implementation of Sasi Ikan Lompa activities in Haruku Village, Central Maluku Regency with the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 27 of 2007 about Management of Coastal Natural Resources and Small Islands, related to the Principles, Objectives, Utilization, Supervision and Control. The Customary Law Community in Haruku Village continues to maintain the continuity of traditional activities such as Sasi Ikan Lompa by continuing to apply rules and sanctions as well as establishing clear sasi areas and strengthened by the existence of a Customary Institution that also supervises them
