- Tradisional ritual at the gate of the village is an unique ritual in Kaenbaun village and behind this ritual there is an unique territorial concept. This paper is based on field observation and interview, guided by fenomenology paradigm and inductive – qualitative method. This research strategy was used to find the relationship between the ritual and architectural space concept which is based on the local perspective. The research found that the gate traditional ritual has a closed relationship with the territorial concept of Kaenbaun village. The concept describes that Kaenbaun is a village with physical and supra-natural aspects of territory.
