- The regulation of legal protection is a good issue to be discussed. The law itself is here to provide certainty and guarantee for a good life to provide certainty and guarantee for the people of a peaceful, orderly and prosperous life. A peaceful, orderly and prosperous life will indirectly be realized from the existence of legal protection. Arrangements that provide accommodation for legal protection of a matter will provide a guarantee for the realization of a peaceful, orderly and prosperous life. It becomes a problem if the regulation on a matter isn’t or hasn’t been able to provide legal protection for parties affected by the existence of the regulation. The diversion arrangement in Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System is one example. This thesis wants to explain the extent to which the diversion arrangements in Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System are able to act as accommodation for legal protection.
