- In improving the society’s welfare and prosperity, the government conducts the National Development. However, land availability is not proportional to the number of national development projects. For this reason, the government conducts Land Acquisition activities for public interest. The study's title is the Implementation of Compensation for the Construction of Sewerage and Sanitation in Sorong Manoi District, Sorong City. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the implementation of compensation in the construction of sewerage and sanitation in the second phase in Sorong Manoi District, Sorong City? This type of study is an empirical legal study. Primary data were obtained directly from respondents and resources. Respondents in this study were four former landowners in the construction of sewerage and sanitation. Secondary data were obtained from literature studies. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The conclusion in this study is that the provision of compensation for the construction of Sewerage and Sanitation in Sorong Manoi District, Sorong City, is following Law Number 2 of 2012 concerning Land Acquisition for Development for Public Interest. The form and value of compensation is cash given under the agreement in determining the compensation.
