- To know the distribution of alcoholic beverages in Sleman regency, the Government has issued a number of Sleman District Regulation Number 8 in 2007 on the prohibition of distribution, sale and use of alcoholic beverages. This thesis aims to examine the effectiveness of law enforcement that has been imposed by the Sleman district court judges, the number of infringement cases Sleman Regency Regulation Number 8 in 2007 on the Prohibition of Circulation, Sales and Use of Alcoholic Beverages in Sleman regency, 2010‐2011. Additionally this thesis aims also to know what the constraints faced in violation of the law enforcement Regional Regulation Number 8 in 2007 in Sleman District Court, in the case of criminal punishment against the defendant in order to get a deterrent effect. This thesis research conducted in Sleman. In establishing the Regional Regulation No. 8 in 2007, the judges face constraints, both of which arise because of the rules of law, officer, and problems that arise because of society and culture. of legal factors, obstacles arise because: the criminal provisions of Article 30 paragraph (1) of Regulation Sleman District No. 8 in 2007, with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of 1 (one) month or a fine of up to Rp 5,000,000, ‐ (five million dollars), for the size is still very low, so it does not make the offenders deterrent.
