- This study is intended to analyze on how is Legal Responsibility of Pedophiles in Indonesian Criminal Law. The study uses a normative legal research. Furthermore, this study focuses on the legal responsibility applied to perpetrators of sexual abuse who suffer from Pedophilia mental disorder. After doing the analysis, it is linked to the information from interviewee who is asked for his legal opinion. The interviewee is ajudge from Sleman District Court. The results of this study indicate the status that a perpetrator of sexual abuse who has Pedophilia mental illness cannot account for his actions, for he is considered incapable of law because of his mental disability. For the Pedophiles who commit violations will be rehabilitated in order to recover their mentals.
