- Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) has a wide variety of land issues. One of the problems is about the abandoned land. Kulonprogo districts has reached the final stages of phase determination as abandoned land, while in the city of Yogyakarta is still at an early stage of the inventory phase, this is because the terms of land area that has not been appropriate. One of the requirements for determination of soil displaced is difficult for the city of Yogyakarta is about the minimum area of land that can be determined to be abandoned land. Land in the city of Yogyakarta is relatively small when compared with an area of land in rural areas.
