- The title of this legal writing is “The Rights of Breastfeeding Women Prisoners in Correctional Facility Class II A Wirogunan Yogyakarta”. This type of research is normative legal research. Normative legal research is a research conducted or focusing on norm of positive law in the form of legislation. Legal issues raised is whether the rights of breastfeeding women prisoners in Correctional Facility Class II A Wirogunan Yogyakarta is in compliance with applicable provisions. The purpose of this research is to find out the rights of breastfeeding women prisoners in Correctional Fasility Clas II A Wirogunan Yogyakarta is in compliance with applicable provisions. The results showed that the rights of breasfeeding women prisoners in Correctional Facility Class II A Wirogunan Yogyakarta have not given optimally on additional food and facilities place for breastfeeding women prisioners, however the correctional facility of Class II A Wirogunan Yogyakarta is already well in providing Heathly Services and dispensation not to follow all activities of the breastfeeding women prisioners. This things recommended that Article 20 Paragraph (1) Indonesia Republican Government regulation Number 32 of 1999 about an terms and procedures for the implementation of the rights of prisioners should be revised, and correctional instituties to provide breastfeeding facilities for inmates.
