  • Development in population, economy, technology, industry, people’s consumption pattern and lifestyle affecting to incensement of trash’s variaty and heap. Trash’s volume depending on total population incensement and consumption level. Trash is a result of human’s activity and it’s volume has directly proportional to population’s number. Unorganized trash’s processing will impact to enviromental’s pollution. Enviromental’s pollution control of trash able to application 3R Principle’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), It is community-based through trash’s selecting & colleting at waste bank. Problem in this research are 1) How application 3R Principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) for environmental pollution and waste in Bantul District, and 2) Obstacle of 3R principles application for trash’s control. This research is empirical law research, it focusing on community’s habit. Data collected by interview and literature review. Conclusion of this research is 3R principles application of house waste control in waste bank affect to trash’s heap decrement, but this implementation unfunction optimally because some obstacles. They are lack of awareness in society for keeping environment’s clean and health, low spirit of society to control their house waste through trash’s selecting and collecting, unrealizing integrated waste bank, and lack of worker for 3R principles operational at waste bank. Writer suggestions area it need more waste’s selecting barrel, it need more land for Integrated Waste Bank (TPST) development, it need help from General Work Department for trash selecting.
