- Acts of vandalism increasingly troubling, local regulations Number. 18 of 2002 on the management of existing hygiene felt still perform the task well. Thus deemed not necessary for issuing new regulations. Acts of vandalism in the city of Yogyakarta today is still being debated separately. People are increasingly uneasy with the action of graffiti - graffiti damaging the beauty of the city of Yogyakarta. There is also the formulation of the problem is how the Civil Service Police Unit Effort Yogyakarta government in cracking or prevent acts of vandalism against public space in the city of Yogyakarta? To find these problems, the authors need to do research with the intent to obtain research data field that researchers can directly meet in the Office of the City Order Yogyakarta. To get valid data in the study, the authors went straight to the head of the field supervisor Municipal Police and Community Development using several methodologies, namely questionnaire (questionnaire) and interview. Conclusion that the Civil Service Police Unit in tackling acts of vandalism in the city YOGYAKARTA is good enough but not maximized if seen from the indicators - indicators of the effectiveness of performance in the form of not achieving the objectives and targets that have been planned.
