- Background: Choles eatoma is an important pathogen tissue causing bone destruction, therefore serious complications may happen. Tumor necrosis factory. is a main cytokine involved in bone destruction. Objective: To find out the correlation betv1een the expression of TNF-u. and the degree of bone destruction in CSOM cholesteatoma. Method: This is an analitycal observational study with cross section al design. Bone destruction was determined by otologist during surgery. All tissues were examined for TN F-a expression using rabbit anti TNF-u. polyclonal antibody.
