- Duyung village is one of villages that develop rural tourism. Unfortunately, the participation of local communities is still low. Community Based Tourism concept is applying to increase the engagement of the communities. Community Based Tourism (CBT) concept involves people of the village in the entire development of rural tourism phases, starting form planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation. The aim of the program is to improve communities awareness of rural tourism by implementation of CBT concept. There are 3 activities carried out to achieve the goal: 1. Program socialization 2. Orientation and observasion 3. Activities planning and community assistance. The conclusions of the program is the implementation of CBT concept improve community awareness of rural tourism, environmental cleanness, Ruwah Dusun traditional ceremony as an tourist destination, local material as a souvenir and special product for rural tourism.
