- This research used 16 patients of diabetes mellitus that treated as control and test group. As control used blood glucose fasting and 2 hour PP in early of treatment. As test used combination of mimba’s leaf (Azadirachta indica A. Juss) and pegagan (Centela asiatica (L). Urban) for 8 weeks. Blood glucose patients measured every 2 weeks which used the whole blood by Optium Omega glucosemeter. Statistic analisys (one way anova) shows that there is no significant different level blood glucose between before therapy with after therapy. This experimental has been conclusion that given combination leaf of mimba (Azadirachta indica A. Juss) and pegagan (Centela asiatica (L). Urban) with dose 500 mg/capsule that takes three times daily one capsule for each preparation and takes after meal didn’t decrease level blood glucose on diabetes mellitus type 2 patients.
