- The schools as the formal education institution should be able to continuously enhance the quality of the education process. One of the available methods to support the goal is by applying a good method of students’ class placement when they change the grade. The heterogeneity concept can be implemented based on gender, academic and non-academic achievement. This research develop an information system to help the school during class placement, based on the database of gender, academic and non academic achievements. The system was built as a web application, implemented in a multi-level school from play group, kindergarten, primary to secondary school. The output of the system has shown that the heterogeneity concept can be well applied. The output also can be used as the suggestion for the school to determine the class placement of all the classes.
