KARAKTERISTIK PENDERITA OTITIS MEDIA SUPURATIF KRONIK DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM PUSAT SANGLAH DENPASAR PERIODE JANUARI-DESEMBER 2014

- Otitis media supuratif kronik (OMSK) merupakan salah satu penyakit yang umum ditemukan pada praktik otorhinolaryngology. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran karakteristik penderita otitis media supuratif kronik di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat (RSUP) Sanglah Denpasar periode Januari sampai Desember 2014. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua tahap; 1) Pengumpulan data sekunder yang dilakukan dengan pencatatan data rekam medik di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Sanglah berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eklusi penelitian, 2) Data sekunder yang telah diperoleh akan diolah dengan menggunakan aplikasi software SPSS dan kemudian hasilnya akan dianalisa secara deskriptif. Dari 144 sampel yang didapatkan, diperoleh data bahwa umur penderita OMSK yang terbanyak adalah pada umur 10-20 tahun yaitu sebesar 25,7% dan umur yang paling jarang menderita adalah umur lebih dari 60 tahun yaitu sebesar 4,9%. Penderita dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki sebanyak 51,4% dan wanita sebanyak 48,6%. Tipe OMSK yang paling banyak diderita adalah tipe benigna sebesar 93,8% dan tipe maligna sebesar 6,2%. Gejala yang paling banyak dialami oleh penderita OMSK adalah gejala otore sebanyak 97,2% dan yang paling jarang adalah gejala vertigo sebanyak 3,5%. Pasien OMSK tipe benigna di RSUP Sanglah tahun 2014 tidak ada yang mengalami komplikasi dan semua pasien OMSK tipe maligna mengalami komplikasi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa jumlah total penderita OMSK di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Sanglah Denpasar tahun 2014 adalah sebanyak 144 orang. Pasien OMSK berdasarkan usia penderita terbanyak adalah pada umur 10-20 tahun, jenis kelamin terbanyak yaitu laki-laki, tipe OMSK tersering yaitu tipe benigna, gejala klinis terbanyak adalah otore dan pasien OMSK jarang mengalami komplikasi. - Chronic suppurative otitis media is one of the common diseases in otorhinolaryngology practice. This study was conducted to describe the characteristics of patients with chronic suppurative otitis media in the General Hospital Center Sanglah the period January to December 2014. This research was conducted in two stages; 1) Secondary data collection is done by recording the data in the medical record General Hospital Sanglah based on inclusion and exclusion criteria for the study, 2) secondary data that have been obtained will be processed using SPSS software application and then the results will be analyzed descriptively. From 144 samples obtained, data showed that patient age chronic suppurative otitis media that most are in the 10-20 year age that is equal to 25.7% and the most rarely suffer age is over 60 years of age is 4.9%. Patients with male sex as much as 51.4% and as much as 48.6% of women. Chronic suppurative otitis media types are the most common type of benign amounted to 93.8% and 6.2% malignant type. Symptoms most commonly experienced by sufferers are the symptoms otorrhoea chronic suppurative otitis media as much as 97.2% and the most rarely are symptoms of vertigo as much as 3.5%. Patients chronic suppurative otitis media benign type in Sanglah 2014 experienced no complications and all patients chronic suppurative otitis media types of malignant complications. It can be concluded that the total number of patients in the chronic suppurative otitis media General Hospital Sanglah 2014 was 144 people. Chronic suppurative otitis media patients based on patient age is the highest in the 10-20 year age, sex, most are males, the most common type is the type of benign chronic suppurative otitis media, clinical symptoms and most are otorrhoea chronic suppurative otitis media patients rarely have complications.
