  • Latar belakang dari penelitian berfokus pada adanya fenomena workplace deviant behavior yang terjadi pada karyawan PT. BPR Pedungan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran kepuasan kerja memediasi pengaruh perceived external prestige pada workplace deviant behavior. Total populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 84 karyawan yang secara keseluruhan dijadikan sampel penelitian (sampel jenuh). Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode penyebaran kuesioner (google form) dan wawancara. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Uji Validitas, Uji Reliabilitas, Uji Asumsi Klasik, dan Analisis Jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan perceived external prestige berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap workplace deviant behavior, perceived external prestige berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, dan kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan pada workplace deviant behavior. Kata kunci: perceived external prestige; kepuasan kerja; workplace deviant behavior.  
  • The background of the research is focused on phenomenon of workplace deviant behavior that occurs in employees of PT. Pedungan BPR. The purpose of this research was about determining role of job satisfaction in mediating effect of perceived external prestige on workplace deviant behavior. The total population in this study was 84 employees which were used as research samples because this study used the saturated sampling method. In collecting data, we used questionnaires distribution and interviews as the method. The data analysis techniques used in this research are Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test, and Path Analysis.The results of this study indicate that perceived external prestige has a negative significant effect on workplace deviant behavior, perceived external prestige has a positive significant effect on job satisfaction, and job satisfaction has a negative but unsignificant effect on workplace deviant behavior.
