- Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meverifikasi status miskonsepsi siswa menggunakan dua metode yaitu, CRI dan three-tier Diagnostic test. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah adalah “ex post facto” dimana mengkaji konsepsi siswa khusunya pada status miskonsepsi menggunakan dua metode seperti yang dijelaskan sebelumnya. Sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-MIA 3 dan X-MIA 4 SMAN 1 Kandangan karena penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang berkaitan dengan yang lain disini peneliti hanya berperan sebagai pengamat. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunujukkan bahwa fakta konsepsi siswa pada konsep stoikiometri ditekan setelah siswa dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran modified inquiry, verifikasi status miskonsepsi siswa yang diidentifiksasi menggunakan metode CRI dan metode three-tier diagnostic test menghasilkan siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sesungguhnya. Kata Kunci: Metode CRI, Metode Three-tier Diagnostic Test, Miskonsepsi, Stoikiometri The purpose of this study was to verify the student is misconception status use CRI and three-tier diagnostic test method. The research design was used "ex post facto" to analyze student conception especially in misconception status using two methods that described before. The target of this research students in class X-MIA 3 and students in class X-MIA 4 SMAN 1 Kandangan since this research was related with another researcher, researcher as observer. Data was analyzed by descriptive analysis. The result showed that the students conception on stoichiometry concept was pressed after the students were teach use modified inquiry model, student’s misconception status was verified by CRI and three-tier diagnostic method gave students with the real misconception.
