  • Women in the family have a very big role to play. Starting from taking care of the house and raising children, there are still many women from middle to lower economic backgrounds who do not have the opportunity to help the family economy. The community plays a big role in helping these housewives to get an extra stage for their families by building new skills, connections, and intelligence through the community.Building a strong, flexible, and effective community both economically and socially is Deideo's goal as a social enterprise. With a big vision, Deideo fostered a community in the Bojongsoang area with the Buana Mekar Foundation and the parish of St. Fransiskus Xaverius Dayeuhkolot, whose members are housewives who are nurtured and trained to have abilities that can compete in the market.Deideo and the community see that business opportunities in the industry are quite convincing. However, many things must be in this world because fashion trends continue to rotate rapidly, both in terms of design and product models. Business opportunities are wide open, but it also means competition. As a social entrepreneur who fosters housewives who are unfamiliar with the world of commerce, Deideo must be observant in finding unique and different business opportunities.Before determining what business the community should do, Deideo approaches community members through Participatory Action Research and then investigates by analyzing the business environment, both internal and external. SWOT analysis to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the community. After seeing the strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities that the community has, Deideo decided that the market that the community wants to enter is the fashion market. A sustainable business is one that is capable of generating income or profit. The sustainable business carried out by the community can support the community to become independent. This of course supports the planning of a community-friendly business model with a business proposition canvas, an STP to see the target market, and an organizational model renewal.
