- This article aims to improve learning outcomes ICT VIII.AGrade Students at SMP N 1 Agam Pua River to use Powerpoint. Thisresearch includes classroom action research, which was conducted inApril and May 2014, involving 20 students to 11 students Personfemale and 9 male students.Levels of achievement of learning outcome of students inlearning was observed with increasing student learning outcomes,namely in the first cycle an average of 71.6 (one point six seven) andthe number of students who completed a total of 11 (eleven) personsor 55%, whereas the cycle II average of 76.1 (seven point one six) andthe number of students who completed as many as 18 people or 90%.Seen also in positive activities that increase student learning anddecrease the negative activity. From this study it can be concluded thatthe use of powerpoint ICT can improve learning outcomes of studentsof class VIII.
