- Abstract: Because of the fast growing of IT in this globalization era, website became media which can deliver information easily, effectively, efficiently and it can be accessed wherever, whenever, and by whomever. SMP N 2 Kerjo is one of the government’s institution and one of the school which has National Standardization which is suggested by the government to have website facility, but SMP N 2 Kerjo haven’t had website as the media which can give information to society and all of the people in that school. The aim of this research is to make profile website of SMP N 2 Kerjo and the making of this website can give benefit for that school and for the society who want to get information related to the SMP N 2 Kerjo. The method which are used bibliography, observation, interview, analysis, scheme, try out and implementation. Website to submit the profile of SMP N 2 Kerjo. Website of SMP N 2 Kerjo, which able to give information easily, effectively, efficiently, and accurately. Keywords : Website, SMP N 2 Kerjo Abstraksi: Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi dan informasi di era globlalisasi, website merupakan media informasi yang dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam menyampaikan informasi secara cepat, efektif dan efisien yang dapat diakses dimana, kapan dan oleh siapa saja. Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 2 Kerjo Kabupaten Karanganyar adalah salah satu instansi pemerintah dan merupakan Sekolah Berstandar Nasional ( SSN ) yang dianjurkan oleh pemerintah untuk memiliki fasilitas website, sedangkan SMP N 2 Kerjo belum memiliki fasilitas website sebagai media yang dapat memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat maupun warga sekolah. Tujuan penelitian adalah membangun website profil SMP N 2 Kerjo. Pembuatan Website Profil SMP N 2 Kerjo dapat memberikan manfaat bagi warga sekolah maupun masyarakat luas yang ingin mendapatkan informasi-informasi yang berhubungan dengan SMP N 2 Kerjo. Metode yang digunakan adalah kepustakaan, observasi, wawancara, analisis, perancangan, ujicoba dan implementasi. Hasil pembuatan website untuk menyampaikan profil dari SMP Negeri 2 Kerjo. Dengan adanya Website SMP Negeri 2 Kerjo, mampu memberikan informasi dengan cepat, efektif, efisien dan akurat. Kata kunci :Website, SMP Negeri 2 Kerjo
