  • Social Skill Training (SST) is one of appropriate interventions for the ASD children with social skills impairment (Cotugno, 2009). The aim of the programme is to train social skill of the ASD children, namely conversational skills, play skills, friendship skills, dealing with conflict, and emotion understanding (Matson, 2002). This study is conducted to determine the appropriate social skill training programme (SST) to the ASD children. This design of the study is Repeated measure Single Subject design (Barlow, D at all, 2009). The data analysis using qualitative method. The data collection is conducted by using bahavior observation charts and the interviews using a guide Autistic Scale Social Profile (ASSP). As for the condition of the subject after the intervention. The results of the study are shown that Social skill training program (SST) is effectively proven to improve the social skill in the ASD children. It can be seen through the descrease scores in pre test and post test of the conversational skills, play skills, friendship skills, and emotion understanding whereas dealing with conflict is still less than optimal.
