- The problem in this study is the fact that the students learning results was low in History subject. This study aims to find out the influence of Cooperative Learning Model Take and Give Type on students learning results with population of grade X Social Science of Senior High School 1 Pesisir Selatan and the samples were taken with Purposive Sampling. The data collection technique was carried out through observation, documentation and tests. This study used experimental research method with post-test only control group design. The data were analyzed using Eta correlation formula. The result of the data analysis concluded that there was an influence of take and give learning model on students learning result. This is shown from the results of the data analysis as classified strong category of Eta correlation coefficient of 0.72.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Take and Give terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan populasi Kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Pesisir Selatan dan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain postest-only control group design. Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus kolerasi Eta. Hasil analisis data diperoleh simpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran take and give terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil analisis data berada pada kategori kuat dengan koefisien korelasi Eta sebesar 0,72.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, model, pengaruh
