- The Research purposes this is to know "There is a positive and significant influence between Problem Based Intruction model with critical thinking ability. Research using research design Posttest Only Control Group Design. think krits of the influence of the magnitude of the significant level of influence is 0.42 and significant at 22.65 and through the Spearman correlation test results obtained are 0.362 from the influence of Problem Based Intruction model with ability on subject history class x high school Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung academic year 2016/2017.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui “adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara model pembelajaran Problem Based Intruction terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian Posttest Only Control Group Design besarnya taraf signifikan pengaruh yaitu 0,42 dan signifikan yaitu 22,65 dan melalui uji Korelasi Spearman didapat hasil yaitu 0,362 dari pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Intruction terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Siswa Kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, model pembelajaran, problem based instruction
