- The research objective was to know how the teachers’ perception toward the Batin Mangunang struggle against the Netherland colonialism in sub-district of central Kotaagung. The method used in this research was descriptive method. The data was collected by using questionnaire. Data analysis technique was qualitative. The research showed that the overall perception of primary school, junior high school, and senior high school teachers was positive, although they had difference percentage. The percentage of primary school teachers was 75.75%, junior high school teachers was 77.34%, and senior high school teachers was 80.42%. This research concludes that the perception of primary school, junior high school, and senior high school teachers toward the Batin Mangunang struggle against the Netherland colonialism in sub-district of central Kotaagung is positive. It can be concluded that the teachers of primary school, junior high school, and senior high school know well the Batin Mangunang struggle which includes eight indicators of struggle.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi guru terhadap perjuangan Batin Mangunang dalam menentang kolonialisme Belanda di Kecamatan Kotaagung Pusat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa, secara keseluruhan persepsi guru SD, SMP, dan SMA adalah positif, meskipun berada pada tingkat persentase yang berbeda. Persentase guru SD sebesar 75.75%, guru SMP sebesar 77.34%, dan guru SMA 80.42%. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa persepsi guru SD, SMP, dan SMA terhadap perjuangan Batin Mangunang dalam menentang kolonialisme Belanda di Kecamatan Kotaagung Pusat adalah positif. Dengan demikian guru SD, SMP, dan SMA, mengetahui dengan baik perjuangan Batin Mangunang yang mencakup delapan indikator perjuangan.Kata kunci : guru, perjuangan batin mangunang, persepsi
