- Eleusine indica population of several oil palm estate has been reported to be glyphosate-resistant. This study aims to map out the distribution and classification of Eleusine indica glyphosate-resistant on oil palm plantations overall in Langkat Regency. This research was conducted on Weed Research Center Land of Agriculture Faculty, University of Sumatera Utara in October 2016 until August 2017. This research used glyphosate herbicide with the recommended doses of 720 g a.i./ha and three replications. Population ESU0 (from Politeknik Negeri Medan Ball Field) as a comparison. Data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 20 software. The results showed that ESU1.2 population (afdeling 9 Sawit Seberang Estate) has the highest survival ability and dry weight amount 92.96% and 23.52 g. From 19 populations in several oil palm estate in Langkat Regency, there were 8 populations classified as glyphosate-resistant (42.11%), 8 populations classified as moderately resistant (42.11%) and 3 populations classified as susceptible (15.79%).
