- Abstract: The purpose of this research was to find out whether singing metod has influence on studends’ cognitive competence of group Bof Pertiwi Kindergarten Sukomoro Nganjuk. This research use pre-experimental design, using one-group pre-test and post-test design by comparing score of pre-tes and post-test. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The samples of this research were 23 students of group B of Pertiwi Kindergarten Sukomoro Nganjuk. The result of wilcoxon match pair test was ) and 23, means <, that was 0<23 ( α=0,01), therefore Null hipothesisi (Ho) was rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It can be stated that there is significant influence of singing on students’ cognitive competence of group B of Pertiwi Kindergarten Sukomoro Nganjuk. Keyword: Singing method, Cognitive competence, Group B students Abstrak : Tujuannya dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah metode bernyanyi itu berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan kognitif anak kelompok B di TK Pertiwi Sukomoro Nganjuk. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Designs dengan jenis One-Grup Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 23 anak dari seluruh kelompok B di TK Pertiwi Sukomoro Nganjuk. Hasil uji jenjang bertanda wilcoxon juga menunjukkan adalah 0 dan adalah 23. Dimana <yaitu 0<23 ( α=0,01), sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima dan dapat dinyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan bernyanyi terhadap kemampuan kognitif anak kelompok B di TK Pertiwi Sukomoro Nganjuk.
