- In planning a project is necessary and cost analysis functions. This is done to get the optimum planning. An effective method is to apply value engineering, where costs are based on an analysis of the major functions of a project. Application of value engineering in construction projects Kalabahi Regent Office Alor regency is motivated by the limited funds available by the project owner, so that need to find an alternative plan where the initial space which planned requirements remain available to the financial condition of the running. Value engineering methodology used is based on the Value Engineering work plan consists of phase information, creative stage, analysis and recommendation phase. Based on the results of the application of Value Engineering in Construction Project Office Building Bupari Alor, conducted an analysis of 3 (three) items Works Architecture is a high-cost ceiling jobs, and jobs Wall tile floor can result in a savings of Rp. 118,937,059 or 1.62% of the total project cost.
