- Good communication is a main requirement in establishing any relationship, especially family relationship. If communication does not run well, a family will lead to ruin. Relationship between parents and children or husband and wife will become tenuous, if it is not based on a strong foundation of communication. Thus, the communication will affect the pattern of parenting. With good communication pattern, it is expected to create a good upbringing. Parenting activities will run well if they are based on love and affection by positioning the child as a subject that must be nurtured and educated, not as mere objects.Kata kunci: keluarga, komunikasi, model stimulus-respons
