STUDI PERBANDINGAN PERHITUNGAN DAYA DUKUNG AKSIAL PONDASI TIANG BOR MENGGUNAKAN UJI BEBAN STATIK DAN METODE DINAMIK

  • PDA (Pile Driving Analysis) method has been used since 1970’s. Many geotechnical engineer thought that PDA method could not substitute the pile full scale test. The aim of this research is to assess Qult (ultimate load capacity) obtained from PDA and full scale tests therefore the correlation of Qult of both tests results can be developed. The assessed data was taken from soil investigation’s final report of several bored pile of campus building project of (UGM) Gadjah Mada University. The full scale test was interpreted by some methods e.g.: Buttler and Hoy, Fuller and Hoy, Chin, and Mazurkiewicz. The used statistic parameter in comparing of both tests is the coefficient of correlation (r2). After analyzing the data, it is found that the r2 of the correlation of full scale test vs PDA is 0,3713 for Buttler and Hoy; 0,3784 for Fuller and Hoy; 0,2539 for Chin; and 0,7091 for Mazurkiewicz. The conclusion of this research is that the PDA does not ensure the substitution of full scale test since the recorded r2 was mostly low. Among the full scale interpretation method, only the Mazurkiewicz records the Qult that closed to the PDA result
