PENGARUH SELF EFFICACY DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 22 SURABAYA PADA MATERI LINGKARAN

  • Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika diantaranya adalah self efficacy dan motivasi belajar. Self efficacy adalah penilaian seseorang akan kemampuan matematika yang dimilikinya untuk menyelesaikan tugas matematika melalui tindakan sendiri dan meyakini dia akan berhasil. Motivasi belajar adalah dorongan yang menimbulkan kegiatan belajar matematika dan memberikan arah pada kegiatan belajar, sehingga tujuan yang dikehendaki oleh subjek belajar itu dapat tercapai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh self efficacy terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Surabaya pada materi lingkaran apabila motivasi belajar dikontrol, (2) pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Surabaya pada materi lingkaran apabila dikontrol self efficacy, (3) pengaruh self efficacy dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Surabaya pada materi lingkaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi. Teknik cluster random sampling digunakan untuk menentukan sampel dari populasi penelitian yaitu semua siswa kelas VIII dari SMP Negeri 22 Surabaya. Sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII-D sebanyak 35 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan angket dan tes. Angket digunakan untuk memperoleh data self efficacy dan motivasi belajar, sedangkan tes tulis digunakan untuk memperoleh data hasil belajar matematika siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara self efficacy terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Surabaya pada materi lingkaran apabila motivasi belajar dikontrol dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar , (2) ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Surabaya pada materi lingkaran apabila self efficacy dikontrol pada materi lingkaran dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar , (3) ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara self efficacy dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi lingkaran dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar . Self efficacy is the assessment of a person’s ability to complete mathematical tasks through their own actions and believe that will be successful. Motivation to learn is the impetus that leads to mathematical learning activities and provide direction on learning activities, so that the purpose by a subject of study can be achieved. The purpose of this research was to know: (1) the impact of self efficacy towards the results of students mathematics learning in class 8th State Junior High School 22 of Surabaya on the circle material if the motivation to learn is controlled, (2) the impact of motivation to learn towards the results of students mathematics learning in class 8th State Junior High School 22 of Surabaya on the circle material if the self efficacy is controlled, (3) the impact of self efficacy and motivation to learn together towards the results of students mathematics learning in class 8th State Junior High School 22 of Surabaya on the circle material. This research is quantitative reseach with regression analysis techniques. The samples in this research using a cluster random sampling techniques, the research population were all students in class 8th State Junior High School 22 of Surabaya. While the research sample were students of class 8th D as many as 35 students. The data collection is done by giving questionnaries and test. The questionnaries is used to obtain data on self efficacy and motivation to learn, while the written test is used to obtain data on the results of students mathematics learning. The results of this research indicate that: (1) there is impact that significant between self efficacy towards the results of students mathematics learning in class 8th State Junior High School 22 of Surabaya on the circle material if the motivation to learn is controlled with a coefficient of determination equal 5,08%.(2) there is impact that significant between self efficacy and motivation to learn together towards the results of students mathematics learning in class 8th State Junior High School 22 of Surabaya on the circle material if the self efficacy is controlled with a coefficient of determination equal 3,19%. (3) there is impact that significant between self efficacy and motivation to learn together towards the results of students mathematics learning in the circle material with a coefficient of determination equal 19,15%.
