- Motivasi merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Dengan motivasi yang tinggi. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa adalah dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-pair-share. Pembelajaran ini merupakan struktur pembelajaran yang sederhana karena anggota kelompok hanya terdiri dari dua orang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-pair-share. Serta aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran menggunakanmodel pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-pair-share. Dalam penelitian ini, motivasi dan hasil belajar dikatakan meningkat jika rata-rata skor angket motivasi dan rata-rata nilai pre-test sebelum kegiatan pembelajaran lebih kecil daripada rata-rata skor angket motivasi dan rata-rata nilai post-test sesudah kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan pre-test and post-test designyang dilaksanakan di MTs Hasyim Asy’ari. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian adalah skor angket motivasi, nilai hasil belajar (pre-test dan post-test), dan hasil pengamatan aktivitas siswa. Angket motivasi belajar dan post-test (pre-test dan post-test) diberikan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan pembelajaran. Sedangkan aktivitas siswa dilakukan pengamatan selama kegiatan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil dan analisis data angket motivasi siswa, diperoleh rata-rata skor angket motivasi belajar siswa yang meningkat, yaitu sebesar76,67% siswa mengalami peningkatan motivasi belajar setelah mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-pair-share. Dari perhitungan dengan menggunakan uji t sampel berpasangan diperolehyaitu, sehingga ditolak atau diterima. Pada hasil belajar siswa, diperoleh rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa (pre-test dan post-test) yang meningkat, yaitu sebesar15,78 dan sebanyak 83,3% % siswa mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar setelah mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-pair-share. Dari perhitungan dengan menggunakan uji t sampel berpasangan diperolehyaitu, sehingga ditolak atau diterima. Pada aktivitas siswa selama mengikuti pembelajaran termasuk dalam kategori aktif dengan persentase rata-rata aktivitas siswa tanpa kegiatan yang tidak relevan dan mendengarkan atau memperhatikan penjelasan dari guru sebesar 71,84%.Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII-1 MTs Hasyim Asy’ari mengalami peningkatan setelah mengikuti pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-pair-share pada materi jajargenjang. By the high motivation in learning, it is expected that students’ learning outcomes which will be achieved by students are also high and satisfied. One of learning mode that can be used to enhance students’ motivation and learning outcomes is cooperative learning model type think-pair-share. This learning is a simple learning structure for members of the group consists of only two people. The aim of this research to find increased students’ motivation and learning outcomes through cooperative learning model type think-pair-share. As well as activities of students during learning usingcooperative learning mode type think-pair-share. In this research, motivation and students’ learning outcomes are said to be increased if the motivation questionnaire average scores and the pre-test averages scores before learning activities are smaller than the motivation questionnaire average scores and the post-test averages scores after the learning activities. This research is an experimental research with design pre-test and post-test design. It had been done in MTs Hasyim Asy’ari. In this research data was taken from the motivation questionnaire scores and scores of students’ learning outcomes test (pre-test and post-test) and the students` activities observation outcome. Motivation questionnaire and scores of students’ learning outcomes test (pre-test and post-test), were given before and after learning activities. Meanwhile, the student activity was observed during the learning activities. Based on the result and analysis data of students’ motivation questionnaire, that was acquired the average score, was increased 5,37 and 76,67% students who had increasing motivation after following cooperative learning model type think-pair-share. From the calculation that used paired-sampel t testwas acquired which the resul was, sowas rejected or was accepted. On students’ learning outcomes, obtained an average score of students’ learning outcomes (pre-test and post-test) were increased , amounting to 15,78and as much as 83,3 % student who had increasing learning outcomes after following cooperative learning model type think-pair-share. From the calculation that usedpaired-sampel t testwas acquired which the result was , sowas rejected or was accepted. On the students’ activities during the learning included in the active category with an average percentage of students’ activity without any activity irrelevant and listen or pay attention to teacher was71,84 %. Researcher concluded that the students’ motivation and learning outcomes of class VII-1 MTs Hasyim Asy’ari were increased after attending the learning activities of cooperative model type think-pair-share at parallelogram material.
