- This article uncovers the implementation of the principles of religious pluralities in Piagam Madinah (Madinah Charter). This charter contained the principles of religious tolerance for a plural society and functions as a normative guideline for a good coexistence among them. This charter ties all religion to freely conducted their religion practices without the compellation and threatens by other religions. Muhammad succeeded in disseminating this charter as well as eliminating the discrimination among the adherents of the existing religions, at that time.
