  • This research aims at examining the effect between: (1) teacher’s pedagogic competence on social subject learning outcomes, (2) students’ learning motivation on social subject, (3) teacher’s pedagogic competence and students’ learning motivation on social subject. The method used was quantitative approach. The population was 300 students. The sample was 171 students selected through proportional random sampling. The data were collected through questionnaire by using Likert scale. The first and second hypothesis testing used simple linear regression analysis, whereas the third hypothesis used multiple linear regression analysis. Significance test employed t-test and F-test on significance level of α = 0.05. The results indicate that: First, there is a positive effect of teacher’s pedagogic competence on students’ learning outcomes. The second, there is a positive effect of students’ learning motivation on students’ learning outcomes. The third, there is a positive effect of teacher’s pedagogic competence and students’ learning motivation on students’ learning outcomes.
