- The purpose this research to know the opinion of community and how the social economic effect from implementation for the aid of rural library book in Sidondo I village of Sigi Regency 2011. The sample this research is decided as 40 respondents. The data collection is done by technique, observation, and documentation. Then, the data were analyzed descriptively, using qualitative approach, where this research is described with detail and clearly. To answer the first question use the Chi-Square (χ2) analysis. The result of this research concludes that: 1) The aid of rural library book in Sidondo I village of Sigi Regency 2011 program wich is implemented has been very supported and needed because the community has understood that the aim of program for villages society progress. 2) The aid of rural library book in Sidondo I village of Sigi Regency 2011 program gives social effect and economic for rural community. The library has the function as media/means for increasing of knowledge and reading ability in order to educate the community life
