  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the Motivation of the Work of the State Civil Apparatus in the Technical Implementation Unit of the Office of Equipment of the Public Works, Spatial Planning and Land of the Parigi Moutong Regency. The work motivation theory used as the basis of analysis by David Mc Clelland (Siagian, 2012: 167), includes the need for achievement, the need for power, and the need to be affiliated. The research method used is qualitative. To obtain more in-depth information, in this study the informants were determined by the Porpusive technique and the informants in this study were the Head of the Civil Service and General Affairs Office of Public Works, Spatial Planning and Land of Parigi Moutong Regency, Staff of the Sub-Section of UPTD Equipment. UPTD Personnel Affairs Equipment, Chief Mechanic at UPTD Equipment, and UPTD Field Supervisor Equipment. Sources of data in this study are Primary Data and Secondary Data. The Data Collection Technique is done by Observation, Interview and Documentation. Data analysis in this study is condensation of data, presentation of data, and conclusion. Based on the results of research and discussion of research on the Motivation of State Civil Apparatus Work at the Technical Implementation Unit of the Office of Public Works Equipment, Spatial Planning and Land Management of Parigi Moutong Regency, the authors conclude that aspects of work motivation include the need for achievement as motivation in work, so does the need for power. However, the need for affiliation has become a motivation for work.
