Rasiddiq</creator><subject lang="en-US">Analysis, Performance, Teacher, Certification</subject><description lang="en-US">Teacher certification is a government effort in order to improve the quality of education as well as teachers' welfare. But in reality the performance of teachers is less than optimal despite having obtained certification. The research method used descriptive qualitative. The number of informants in this study that is ten people, consisting of Principals, Teachers certified, parents of students and learners are drawn with the technique of purposive sampling. Techniques of collecting and retrieving data consists of observation, interviews, and documentation. The theory used is performance theory developed by Akhmad Sudrajat which consists of pedagogic competence, personality competence, social competence and professional competence. The results showed that the performance of certified teachers in State Junior High School 14 Palu less optimal, because of four aspects of performance put forward by Akhmad Sudrajat, only three aspects that work well that is the aspect of pedagogic competence, personal competence and social competence.
