Penerapan Sistem Full Day School Dalam Menumbuhkan Karakter Religius Siswa Di SMP Negeri 1 Sambeng

  • Abstrak Karakter religius merupakan watak seseorang yang taat dan patuh dalam memahami dan melaksanakan ajaran agama yang dianutnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: pertama mendeskripsikan penerapan sistem full day school dalam menumbuhkan karakter religius siswa, kedua mendeskripsikan kendala penerapan sistem full day school dalam menumbuhkan karakter religius siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Sambeng, Kecamatan Sambeng, Kabupaten Lamongan. Landasan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori belajar sosial Albert Bandura. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini ada empat orang, yakni kepala sekolah SMP Negeri 1 Sambeng, waka kurikulum, guru pendidikan agama islam, salah satu siswa SMP Negeri 1 Sambeng. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan full day school di SMP Negeri 1 Sambeng sejak tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang setiap harinya dimulai dari pukul 06.45 sampai pukul 15.30, di dalam kebijakan full day school sekolah mengutamakan untuk menumbuhkan karakter religius siswa. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh sekolah dalam menumbuhkan karakter religius siswa melalui kegiatan-kegiatan yang ada di sekolah seperti: sholat wajib berjamaah dhuhur dan ashar, sholat dhuha, Tadarus, Tausyiah atau ceramah agama, Tahfidz atau hafalan Al-Qur’an, Baca tulis Al-Qur’an, Gerakan Lamongan menghafal, Albanjari. Sedangkan untuk kendala yang dihadapi adalah yang pertama kurangnya kesadaran diri siswa untuk melaksanakan kegiatan religius, yang kedua Sarana yang dimiliki sekolah. Di SMP Negeri 1 Sambeng dapat ditemukan aspek religius yang ditumbuhkan yakni, aspek keyakinan, aspek peribadatan, aspek penghayatan, aspek pengetahuan, aspek pengamatan. Kata Kunci: Full Day School, Karakter ReligiusAbstract Religious character is the personality of a person who is obedient and dutiful in understanding and carrying out the teachings of the religion he adheres to. The purpose of this study were to: first describe the implementation of a full day school system in fostering students’ religious character; second describe the obstacles of implementing a full day school system in fostering students’ religious character at Sambeng 1 Public Middle School, Sambeng District, Lamongan. The theoretical basis used in this study is Albert Banduras social learning theory. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive design. There were four informants in this study, headmaster of Sambeng 1 Public Middle School, deputy headmaster of curriculum affairs, an Islamic religious education teacher, one of the students of Sambeng 1 Public Middle School. The results showed that the implementation of a full day school system at Sambeng 1 Public Middle School since the 2017/2018 school year began from 6:45 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The full day school system policy applied by the school is prioritizing the growth of students religious character. The efforts made by the school in fostering the religious character of students are through programs organized by the school, such as: dhuhur and ashar prayers in congregations; dhuha prayer; tadarus; religious lectures; tahfidz or memorizing the Quran; reciting and writing the Quran; the movements of Lamongan memorizing; and Albanjari. While, the obstacles faced are, first lack of self-awareness of students to participate in religious activities; second the lack of facilities owned by the school. In the Sambeng 1 Public Middle School, religious aspects can be found that are developed, religious belief, religious practice, religious feeling, religious knowledge, religious effect.
