Pemberdayaan Penyandang Disabilitas dalam Memperoleh Hak Pekerjaan yang Layak Melalui Pelatihan di Yayasan Lumintu Kabupaten Sidoarjo

  • Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan proses pemberdayaan serta hambatan penyandang disabilitas yang dilakukan Yayasan Lumintu melalui pelatihan demi terpenuhinya hak pekerjaan yang layak. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif, informan penelitian yakni pembina, pengurus (ketua 2 dan wakil sekretaris) Yayasan Lumintu dan 5 penyandang disabilitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan yang dilakukan Yayasan Lumintu bekerja sama dengan Dinas Sosial dan perusahaan mitra di antaranya JAI, SAI, Young Tree, UFI, Pabrik Sido Jangkung, dan Fisrt Media Farma. Pelatihan dan perekrutan lapangan pekerjaan tidak hanya pada sektor informal namun juga sektor formal. Berbagai jenis penyandang disabilitas memiliki kesempatan sama untuk mengikuti pemberdayaan dan memperjuangkan haknya, namun pemanfaatan yang diambil berbeda karena integrasi keseluruhan elemen pendukung masih tumpang tindih antara pihak Yayasan Lumintu, keluarga, dan penyandang disabilitas, sehingga pemberdayaan yang diharapkan dari awal hingga akhir, hasil pemberdayaan bagi penyandang disabilitas belum berhasil. Hambatan yakni kondisi, kemampuan, serta minat penyandang disabilitas, kriteria perusahaan pada saat perekrutan dan dana menyebabkan pelaksanaan pemberdayaan belum dapat dilaksanakan secara maksimal. Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan, Penyandang Disabilitas, Hak Pekerjaan yang Layak Abstract The purpose of this study to describe the process empowerment as well as obtacle of person with disabilities by training for the sake of the fulfillment of decent work right. The research method used qualitative descriptive, where the research informants are builder, board (leader 2 and vice secretary) of Lumintu Foundation and 5 person with disabilities. The result of this study indicates that the empowerment of Lumintu Foundation in collaboration between the society and partner companies such as JAI, SAI, Young Tree, UFI, Pabrik Sido Jangkung, and First Media Farma. Training and employment is not only in the informal sector but also in the formal sector. Different types of person with disabilities have equal opportunity to follow the empowerment and fight for their right but the utilization was different because the overall integration of the supporting element was still overlapping between of the Lumintu Foundation, the family, and the people with disabilities, so that the expeted empowerment from start to finish, person wih disabilities have not succeded. All able to realize it because of their contraints, potential person with disabilities interest, criteion of company at the time of recruitment and funds causes the implementation of empowement cannot be implemented maximally.
