- Abstrak Penelitian ini mengungkap pandangan mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum Universitas Negeri Surabaya tentang Korea Pop Culture (Budaya Pop Korea). Budaya pop Korea dalam penelitian ini adalah budaya pop Korea dalam bentuk drama The Heirs. Pandangan Mahasiswa terkait drama The Heirs dilihat dari tiga aspek yaitu: (1) aspek karakter pemain drama The Heirs; (2) aspek tema cerita dalam drama The Heirs; (3) gaya berbusana pemain drama The Heirs. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori konstruksi dari Peter L. Berger. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian fenomenologi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data fenomenologi Husserl. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Informan berjumlah empat mahasiswa, empat informan tersebut memiliki karakteristik yang sesuai dengan kriteria informan penelitian, yaitu (1) telah mengenal budaya Korea maksimal sejak tahun 2011; (2) menggemari produk-produk budaya Korea khususnya drama Korea; (3) mengetahui dan memahami mengenai drama Korea The Heirs; (4) telah menyaksikan drama Korea The Heirs dari episode 1-20. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pandangan mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum Universitas Negeri Surabaya tentang Korea Pop Culture (Budaya Pop Korea) dalam bentuk drama Korea The Heirs, bahwa drama Korea The Heirs memberi dampak positif bagi para penikmat dari drama tersebut. dampak positif tersebut antara lain Karakter baik yang ditampilkan pemain drama Korea The Heirs menjadi pendorong penikmat drama dalam memunculkan karakter yang dimilikinya dan Gaya berbusana yang ditampilkan para pemain drama Korea The Heirs dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan dalam pemilihan gaya berbusana. Kata Kunci : konstruksi mahasiswa, budaya populer Korea, drama Korea The Heirs Abstract This research reveals view students of the faculty of social and laws s state university of Surabaya about Korea pop culture. Pop culture Korea in this research was pop culture the form of the drama the heirs. The drama students related to the heirs viewed from three aspects: ( 1 ) the character a performer of the drama the heirs; ( 2 ) the theme story in drama the heirs; ( 3 ) style dressing a performer of the drama the heirs. A theory that used in this research that is the theory construction of Peter L. Berger. Methods used in this study adopted qualitative approaches with the research design phenomenology. Technique data analysis in this research using a technique data analysis phenomenology husserl . Technique data collection use observation and in-depth interviews. Informants were four students, four informant has characteristic according to research criteria informant, (1) have known Korea culture maximum since 2011; (2) subacid products Korea culture especially Korea drama; (3) know and understanding about Korea drama the heirs; (4) who have interest to play the heirs and see the drama of episodes 1-20. This research result indicates view students of the faculty social science and law state university Surabaya about Korea pop culture the form of the drama the heirs, that drama Korea the heirs give a positive impact for the audience for the drama. The positive impact these include good character are displayed player Korea drama the heirs become thruster connoisseur drama in eliciting characters that it had and a style of dress that displayed the players of Korea drama the heirs can be used as reference in the election of a style of dress.
