- Abstrak Tujuan penelian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pola pemanfaatan televisi sebagai sumber belajar oleh mahasiswa proram studi kependidikan Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Jumlah sample penelitian yaitu 131. Variabel penelitian yaitu pola pemanfaatan televisi sebagai sumber belajar, dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus prosentase. Hasil dari penelitian kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa sumber belajar televisi digunakan sebagai sumber informasi tambahan, memperoleh materi perkuliahan, dan memperoleh informasi terbaru. Pilihan jenis tayangan berbeda-beda sesuai dengan rumpun keilmuan masing-masing, yang sebagian besar dilakukan atas perintah atau saran dari dosen. Kata Kunci: televisi, sumber belajar Abstract The aim of this research describes patterns of using television as a learning resource by students of education program State University Surabaya. This study uses descriptive quantitative method. The sample of this research are 131 education students. The variable research is the pattern of using television as a learning resource. The data analysis descriptively wih percentage. The result of quantitative show that television as a learning resource is choosen to get additional information, learning materials, and the newst information. Choosing of the television program variates according to the each of scientific cluster, and most of them do according to their lecturer’s suggestion or order. Keyword: television, learning resource
