  • One of intermediation function for bank financial institution is distribute credit to people. Credit is an activity to give a benefit for sustainability of bank so many effort taken in order to avoid any problematic credit (Non-Performing Loan) which could harm a bank. Risk mitigation is an effort to optimize performance of bank although it is hard to avoid problematic credit in term of macro or micro. Bank as a intermediation body, minimalize risk by arranging banker’s clause against debtor with aim toeliminate risk for third party. In this case, assurance companies act as insurer of compensation for all credit risk. Compensation diverted to bank in order to decrease ban risk and calculated with debit residue of loan from debtor.Keywords: Banker’ Clause, risk mitigation of credit, prudential banking principle.
