- Geographic information system is a computer based system that used to collecting, saving, combine,organized, transform, manipulate and analyze geographical datas. Problem that studied in this research is the unavailability of an information system that can help the Department of Tourism in the Gianyar regency managing tourism objects that exist and provide tourist information for travelers. The increase rate in tourist arrivals increasing in line with the needs of the information, it is necessary to develop a geographic information system that can help the Department of Tourism in the Gianyar regency to manage tourism information and assist travelers in finding the information of a tourist attraction.This system will be made in two versions, web and mobile android that developed by phonegap framework, making it easier for travelers to get information from anywhere. The developing method of geographic information systems using the systems development life cycle (SDLC).
