  • In the industrial world, conveyors are used to moving products from one place to another, errors that often occur are instability of the conveyor caused by the given load exceeds the specified limit, so the speed of the conveyor motor drive changes speed, which can disrupt the process production. Seeing the problem above, a system of controlling motor speed is automatically designed by applying a fuzzy logic algorithm using a microcontroller. Fuzzy is used to control motor speed to maintain motor speed stability on the conveyor. While the microcontroller used by Atmega8535. The input variables used are errors and ∆ errors. Both input variables come from PWM input which is read by an optocoupler sensor. Error variable is the difference between the current motor speed and the desired motor speed (setting point) and ∆ error is the error difference with the previous error. For the success rate obtained is 90%.
