- The problem in this research is how the process and the result of learning melinting dance used cooperative learning model of jigsaw type in Junior High School 1 Trimurjo. This research aims to describe the process and the result of learning melinting dance using cooperative learning model of jigsaw type in Junior High School 1 Trimurjo. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, practice test, and non test. Based on data analysis techniques, the avarage value of learning process using cooperative learning model of jigsaw type in Junior High School 1 Trimurjo in the first to fifth meeting reached 87 is excellent category. The avarage value of the dance melinting learning in Junior High School 1 Trimurjo at the sixth until tenth meeting based on all aspects of wiraga, wirama, and wirasa reaching 82 is good category.Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakan proses dan hasil pembelajaran tari melinting menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe jigsaw di SMP Negeri 1 Trimurjo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil pembelajaran tari melinting menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe jigsaw di SMP Negeri 1 Trimurjo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, tes praktik, dan non tes. Berdasarkan teknik analisis data, nilai rata-rata proses pembelajaran menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe jigsaw di SMP Negeri 1 Trimurjo pertemuan pertama sampai kelima mencapai 87 termasuk kategori baik sekali. Nilai rata-rata pembelajaran tari melinting di SMP Negeri 1 Trimurjo pertemuan keenam sampai kesepuluh berdasarkan semua aspek wiraga, wirama, dan wirasa mencapai 82 termasuk kategori baik.Kata kunci : Jigsaw, Pembelajaran, Tari Melinting
