- Akhsanul In'amUniversitas Muhammadiyah MalangAbstrackThe purpose of this study is to analyze the pedagogical competence of teachers ofmathematics at secondary school (SMP). Subjects in this study is that the task ofmathematics teachers in junior secondary school and junior secondary school, bothpublic and private in the district, amounting to 93 people. There are ten aspects ofpedagogic competence who want to be assessed in this study include: 1) the ability tounderstand the characteristics of learners from physical, moral, spiritual, social,cultural, emotional, and intellectual; 2) the ability to master the learning theoriesand principles learning that educates; 3) develop curriculum-related subjects Amnestied;4) conduct an educational learning; 5) utilize information and communicationtechnology for the sake of learning; 6) utilizing information and communicationtechnology for the sake of learning; 7) to communicate effectively , empathetic, andpolite with learners; 8) conducting the assessment and evaluation processes andlearning outcomes; 9) utilizing the results of the assessment and evaluation for thesake of learning; and 10) take action to improve the quality of reflective learning.The results showed, that the aspect that was ranked highest with respect to theimplementation of learning that educates, while the aspect that is less controlled bythe teacher in implementing the learning activities are aspects relating to the use ofinformation technology for the benefit of learning activities.
