- ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengingat cerita melalui metode bercerita dengan media boneka tangan pada anak kelompok B TK Masyitoh IV Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok kelompok B Masyitoh IV Surakarta yang berjumlah 20 anak. Sumber data berasal dari guru dan anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes unjuk kerja. Validitas data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui metode bercerita dengan media boneka tangan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengingat cerita pada anak kelompok B TK Masyitoh IV Surakarta dari prasiklus ke siklus I, dan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Ketuntasan anak secara klasikal dalam mengingat cerita pada prasiklus adalah sebesar 35% atau 7 anak yang mencapai kriteria tuntas. Peningkatan terjadi pada siklus I yaitu 40% atau 8 anak mencapai kriteria tuntas dalam mengingat cerita. Dilanjutkan ke siklus II ketuntasan anak secara klasikal dalam mengingat cerita meningkat menjadi 75% atau 15 anak mencapai kriteria tuntas. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah melalui metode bercerita dengan media boneka tangan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengingat cerita pada anak kelompok B TK Masyitoh IV Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Mengingat Cerita, Metode Bercerita, Boneka Tangan ABSTRACK The purpose of the research was to increase the ability to remember stories through storytelling with puppets in the media of children in group B in Kindergarten Masyitoh IV Surakarta Academic Year 2015/2016. The type of the research is classroom action research (PTK) was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were children groups B in Kindergarten Masyitoh IV Surakarta were 20 children in number. Source of data derived from the teachers and children. Data collection techniques used in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, and test performance. The validity of the data used is source triangulation and triangulation techniques. Analysis of the data used is an interactive model that consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.The results showed that through storytelling with puppets media can increase the ability to remember the story of children in group B Kindergarten Masyitoh IV Surakarta from precycle to the first cycle, and from the first cycle to the second cycle. The completeness classically children in remembering the story on precycle is 35% or 7 children who achieved complete criteria. The increase occurred in the first cycle is 40% or 8 children who reached criteria in considering story. Proceed to the second cycle in the classical completeness children in considering the story increased to 75% or 15 children who reached complete criteria. The conclusions of the research was through storytelling with hand puppets media can increase the ability to remember the story of children in group B Kindergarten Masyitoh IV Surakarta Academic Year 2015/2016.
