- Abstract: Application of Group Investigation Method with Concrete Media in Improving Natural Science in 5th Grade Students of Elementary School. The objectives of the research are: to describe the steps of model Group Investigation type using media concrete, to improve Natural Science learning, and to describe its problems and solutions. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Subjects of this research were 20 fifth grade students of SDN 3 Dorowati. The results of the research show that the application of Group Investigation method using concrete media that implemented with appropriate procedure can improve Natural Science learning for the five grade students. Keywords: Group Investigation, concrete media, Natural Science Abstrak: Penerapan Metode Group Investigation dengan Media Konkret dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran IPA pada Siswa Kelas V SD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan metode Group Investigation dengan media konkret, meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA, dan mendeskripsikan kendala serta solusinya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) kolaboratif dengan tiga siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas V SDN 3 Dorowati dengan jumlah 20 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Group Investigation dengan media konkret yang dilaksanakan sesuai langkah yang tepat dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas V SD. Kata Kunci: Group Investigation, media konkret, pembelajaran IPA.
