  • Abstract: The Aplication of Think Talk Write Model Using Puzzle Media in Improving Essay Writing Skills of Description For The Fourth Grade Students Of SD Negeri 1 Kracak. The objectives of this study are to describe the application and to improve essay writing skills of description of think talk write model using puzzle media and to find out problems and solutions. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) collaborative with procedure planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects 20 students. The results showed there are improving essay description after did use think talk write model using puzzle media. Data collected from observation, interview, end test. The conclusion of this research is the application of think talk write model using puzzle media can successfully improve essay writing skills of description for the fourth grade Students of SD Negeri 1 Kracak in Academic Year 2014/2015Keyyword : Think Talk Write, Puzzle, Essay DescriptionAbstrak : Penggunaan Model Think Talk Write dengan Media Puzzle dalam Peningkatan Keterampilan Menulis Karangan Deskripsi Pada Siswa Kelas IVA SDN 1 Kracak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah dan meningkatkan keterampilan menulis menulis karangan deskripsi dengan model Think Talk Write dengan Media Puzzle serta menemukan adanya kendala dan solusinya. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Kolaboratif tahapannya perencanaan, observasi, refleksi. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas IVA berjumlah 20 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan pembpelajaran menulis karangan deskripsi menggunakan model Think Talk Write dengan media puzzle. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan tes. Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu penggunaan model Think Talk Write dengan Media Puzzle dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi pada siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 1 Kracak Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015Kata kunci : Think Talk Write, Puzzle, Karangan Deskripsi
