- Abstract: The Application of Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) model with experimental method in improve natural science learning IV grade student of state elementary school. The purpose of this research is to describe the process of applying the CTL model with the experimental method improve natural science learning IV grade student Elementary school. This study was collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR). The experiment was conducted in three cycles and each cycle consisting of planning execution, observation, and reflection. Research subject is IV grade student amounting to 28 student. The data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and tests. The results show that application of CTL model with the experimental method can improve natural science learning state fourth grade student of state elementary school . Keywords:Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Experimental Method, Sains Science Abstrak: Penerapan Model Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) dengan metode eksperimen dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran IPA Kelas IV SD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan model CTL dengan metode eksperimen dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaborasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model CTL dengan metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA kelas IV SD. Kata Kunci: Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL), metode eksperimen, IPA
