- AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of NHT learning model and TGT aided instruction model square unit to formative mathematics learning outcomes of third grade students SDN 02 Salatiga second semester of academic year 2017/2018. This type of research is a quasi experiment. Data collection techniques use multiple-choice tests. The mean value of Post-test experiment1 class is 81.11 and experiment2 is 74.69. Thus proven, the NHT model has more influence on the improvement of student achievement class III. The result of t-count difference calculation is 2,480> t-table 1,99601. Which means Ha accepted in other words there are significant differences in the effect of learning outcomes mathematics students class III SD after being treated. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran NHT dan model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan persegi satuan terhadap hasil belajar formatif matematika siswa kelas III SDN 02 Salatiga semester II tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pilihan ganda. Mean nilai Post-test kelas eksperimen1 sebesar 81,11 dan eksperimen2 sebesar 74,69. Sehingga terbukti, model NHT lebih berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas III . Hasil perhitungan uji beda t-hitung sebesar 2,480>t-tabel 1,99601. yang berarti Ha diterima dengan kata lain terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas III SD setelah diberi perlakuan.
